We're excited to share something new with the STAX community: Stax Speciál, a video series from our official distributor in the Czech Republic, Luxusní Elektronika. It is dedicated to the best of the STAX range and the world of premium high-end audio.
About our distributor
Luxusní Elektronika (L-E.cz) is a Czech HiFi retailer with one of the largest selections of quality audio electronics in the country, and a name that matches what they sell. Their range covers speakers, amplifiers, players, turntables, cables, DJ and studio gear, and a wide selection of headphones, from portable models to audiophile classics. They work with many respected brands, and STAX is one of them.
They stand out for how they look after customers:
- Expert advice: you can order and ask questions by phone, and their team helps with setup and connection after your purchase.
- Fast, free delivery: orders are shipped quickly, with free shipping on all products.
- Try before you buy: they run a showroom where you can book a listening session.
- Service and warranty: they offer after-sales support and a purchase guarantee.
- English-speaking customers: they have a dedicated section for expats.
Their YouTube channel is where they share reviews, listening tests, and buying advice, which makes it a natural home for a series about electrostatic headphones.
Part 1: STAX SR-X9000 and SRM-T8000
The series opens at the top of our lineup. In the first episode, Luxusní Elektronika pairs the STAX SR-X9000, our flagship electrostatic headphones, with the flagship STAX SRM-T8000 energizer.
The video asks the questions we hear most often from enthusiasts:
- Are these the best headphones in the world?
- What does uncompromising sound actually sound like?
- Who is a setup like this intended for?
The episode shows the gear up close and shares first impressions from the very first listen.
